Google will soon be waving at us all

Update: Google Wave is officially shut down!
The Internet is evolving into more than simple web pages. With a massive amount of information, resources, tools, it's surprising it's taken this long for a tool to allow you to easily control and digest all this information.
The Soon to launch Google Wave does that and more.
For those of you who are not Google Fan boys like myself, I'll go over the basics.
Google Wave: A huge step in communication tools[/caption] Google Wave is a real time communication tool which has captured the attention of many of us online, as it promises to integrate and blur the line between many of the communication tools we use online today. Big Deal I hear you say! Yeah ok, it's not going to be any sort of deal to those of us who are not 'Tech Freaks', but its hard to deny the advancement in communication isn't somewhat exciting. To an average user Google Wave will offer 'aspects of email, instant messaging, wikis, web chat, social networking, and project management to build one elegant, in-browser communication client. You can bring a group of friends or business partners together to discuss how your day has been or share files.'
Google Wave promises to change the way we talk to people online[/caption] Some of the features we can look forward to are the ability to import Twitter, provide real time chat, reply past conversations you have, and drag and drop file uploads on the fly. Time will tell whether there will be widespread adoption, but it's Google, has any product they launched really failed yet?
