Hey Businesses: Don't Create Google+ Profiles...yet

If you have been playing around with Google+ like we have hear at Optimising HQ, you will know there are some cool possibilities for business use. We have already seen some businesses like Ford, Breaking News and,_ _Mashable jump on board early and start using the service to reach consumers, but for the rest of us, the clear message form Google is "Wait a bit longer..."

In a post and YouTube video on Google+, Product Manager Christian Oestlien says "the Google+ team is working on creating a unique experience for businesses that includes deep analytics and the ability to connect to products like AdWords." "The business experience we are creating should far exceed the consumer profile in terms of its usefulness to businesses," Oestlien says in his post. "We just ask for your patience while we build it. In the meantime, we are discouraging businesses from using regular profiles to connect with Google+ users. Our policy team will actively work with profile owners to shut down non-user profiles." If you are keen on getting a jump on the game, before the launch later this year of Google+ fomr Business, ou can sign up to be a Beta tester of the service on this Google Spreadsheet where "non-user entities" can apply for the program.
