4 Ways to get more views on your Facebook Posts

Posted on January 01, 2014

Facebook posts can drive traffic to your site...if you treat it right[/caption] Facebook is a great medium for sharing valuable information with your customers, potential and existing. That being said, getting those people to click on your posts, is not as easy as it seems. If you want to maximise the sharing of your content on Facebook?

Here are four tips that will get you on the right path.

Publish at different times

Use trial and error, along with some post scheduling service like hootsuite or Tweetdeck to schedule your posts at different times, and different days. You might be surprised that your audience is not as predictable as you thought.

Include Numbers

This is one of the oldest tricks in the book in marketing circles, but for some reason, having a number in the headline of a post really gets eyeballs. Post titles like "7 ways to grill a burger" or "25 reasons its the right time to buy a property in Melbourne" are great examples of links bait titles.

Choose the right image

An image tells 1000 words. Each post you put on facebook allows you to put one thumbnail image to encourage click throughs, so use it wisely! The thumbnails are taken directly from the images embedded in the post, so think about which image you would like to use on facebook when you are editing your posts on your blog.

Include video

With the way videos are displayed and embedded on facebook, the sharing of videos works very well. If you have a video of your product or service, your facebook fans will view it with pleasure.

Thats it. If you follow those steps every time, you will find what works best with your audience. Got any tips we missed? Sharing is caring guys! Leave a comment!
